Campus Compact's network of state affiliates continues to expand. In the past year, three new offices — in Kansas, Kentucky, and Louisiana — brings the total to 32 state offices across the country. An additional five offices, including one in Puerto Rico, are in development. State Campus Compact offices provide powerful leadership at the local, state, and regional level to mobilize resources and provide support for member campuses. In 1989 Michigan was one of the first states to develop a state office for Campus Compact.
